Lynda-Ross Vega
Lynda-Ross Vega has been fascinated by what makes people tick since she was a child. Her curiosity about human diversity and how to bring out the best in each person led her to a multifaceted career in the financial, technology, and behavioral consulting sectors. She has played roles that include top executive, entrepreneur, business owner, consultant, coach, daughter, sister, wife, stepmother, and grandmother.
With over 35 years of experience in executive management and as a business owner/entrepreneur, Lynda-Ross is an expert at harnessing the power of perception to help individuals and organizations discover their natural talents, implement changes, foster collaboration, and develop talent.
Lynda-Ross began researching and applying style theory tools early in her career. Her passion for identifying and directing the right talent to the right task led to her collaboration with Dr. Gary Jordan, starting in 1983, and the development of Perceptual Style Theory™.
Lynda-Ross is an avid reader, food lover, and music enthusiast. She enjoys walks with her Irish Setter Kinsey, working out in her local barre studio, hiking with friends, gardening, knitting, flower arranging, and any time spent in the forest or by the ocean.
She and her husband, Ricardo, left their corporate jobs in 1994, started their first business together, and never looked back. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching soccer (especially the Premier League), traveling, music, history, and live theater.
Gary M. Jordan
Gary Jordan, Ph.D., has over 40 years of experience in clinical psychology, behavior assessment, individual development, and coaching. He earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology—Berkeley in 1980.
Always fascinated by theories of types and styles, Gary found that none of the theories he studied integrated internal experience with observable behavior. From his doctoral thesis and throughout his years in private practice, he worked on creating a practical and usable style theory based on perception.
In 1983, he joined Lynda-Ross Vega, and together they created Perceptual Style Theory™. This revolutionary psychological assessment system provides answers for individuals to leverage their natural strengths and find more meaning and satisfaction in life.
Gary is an expert in helping people understand themselves, discover their innate talents and value, and use that information to align their actions with their natural potential.
Throughout his career, Gary has worked in community mental health, private practice, hospital facilities, and corporate enterprises. He and Lynda-Ross founded their coaching business in 1996.
Among his many hobbies and interests, he enjoys building furniture, teaching Shaolin Kenpo, music, reading, movies, DIY projects, and spending time with family and friends. Gary is a black belt and instructor in Shaolin Kenpo. Interestingly, Gary and his wife, Marcia, met when she took one of his classes.
